Orbis Angola is a non-profit organization, officially registered in July 2020, built on decades of humanitarian service in Angola. Our founders, José Agostinho and António Rafael, bring over 50 years of combined project management experience in areas such as mine clearance, health, nutrition, and nature conservation.
We work to protect life on earth—both human and animal—while promoting biodiversity. From tackling deforestation, pollution, and wildlife crime to addressing the impacts of landmines and zoonotic diseases, Orbis Angola is committed to creating a safer and healthier future.

At Orbis Angola, we build on a foundation of trust and goodwill with our donors, supporters, beneficiaries, and authorities. We ensure this by being transparent at all levels.

To protect life on Earth—both human and animal—by addressing urgent environmental challenges such as deforestation, air and water pollution, climate change, resource depletion, and wildlife crime. We strive to prevent the emergence of new diseases through a One Health Approach, while supporting biodiversity conservation, community well-being, and sustainable development in Angola.
A future where people and nature thrive together—free from the devastation of landmines, the threats of pollution, and the loss of wildlife. We envision Angola as a country leading in nature conservation, environmental education, and biodiversity protection, working hand in hand with local communities and international partners.
